Do I have to go through another fingerprint/background check?

I did it last year through IBT for insurance licensing. Now I am getting a truck driving job that requires Hazmat endorsement. Do I have to do it again, or will the state of Texas accept my background check from last year?

    Ask the State of Texas.

    Was the IBT done in Texas?

    If YES then they may accept the previous work.

    If NO more then likely they will want to do their own background etc.
