I would try it first with the hairdresser. The reason is that you will have to remove all the color from the parts that are now black that you want blonde. That requires bleaching and re-coloring, probably with toning (to keep it from going yellow) as well. Once that has been accomplished, I would think you could then maintain your look at home if you are good at that sort of thing.

you should buy one of those highlighter kits from like kmart or somewhere like that, the kit comes with that like shower cap with holes in it that you pull your hair through to highlight.

so like dye your hair black && then do that.
