Baby names? any suggestions for us?

I think Imogen and Alice are nice names for girls, and louise is nice but its quite common i mean my middle name is louise and so many other people have taht middle name too, but its still very nice.

oh and i like the name Cody or Aiden for a boy.

and other unusual names i can think of are :

Amber, Tegan, Maddison, Kahlen, Tansy ( which is my name but i spell it Tanzi ) , Juliet, Joanie, Annaleigh,

Boys:

Maxim, Jesse, Jared, Jensen, Elliot, Cole, Leroy, Tristan, Brandon.

I like Nathan and Imogen, but the names you've got with them do make them look plain. If you're going to go with first names like that you might need a more unusual middle name to jazz it up. I know a girl with a really boring first name but her middle name's Kezia which I think is beautiful and once people see her whole name written down they always comments on how nice it is. I really like the names Damien and Aiden too!

You have to choose what is right for you & your baby.

The only hints I would give are the following:-

1. Remember that your child will have to live with this name all their life, put it on forms and speak it over the phone, so best not to choose a name that is difficult to spell or that sounds odd for a 70-year-old. Do you want your child to spend the whole of his/her adult life being asked "how do you spell that?" (I KNOW - I have an unusual married surname and it has driven me mad for over 40 years, because I always have to spell it - and they still get it wrong!)

2. Check out the initials. If they make a weird sound or name, you can be sure that kids at school will make fun of this.
