Do I have a rare/collectible book? A Tale of Two Cities?

can't find any info about it, but I might not be looking in the right spots.

It's a hardback with a dark blue cloth cover. The title on the cover is written in gold in a block of olive green.

The ONLY information on the title page is that it is a Modern Library of New York book, it was manufactured in the US, printed by Parkway Printing Company, bound by H. Wolff, published by A.S. Barnes & Co., Inc., and distributed by Random House, Inc.

This is all of the info listed. There is no publication date or a printing number listed anywhere.

It has 397 pages.

If anybody can help me out, I'd be really grateful!

Update:

There is NO publication date, or any other info other than what I listed. That's why I can't find anything about it.

I wasn't sure if I had a first edition book either, so I looked up how to find out. Hope this helps, and that you do!

It doesn't sound rare or collectible. Random House has only been around for half a century or so, so no. There should be a publication date in there as well. It would likely only be valuable if it were an early edition, too.

whilst somebody says that A tale of two cities is quite boring, they mean its quite long (no longer in website quantity). yet, you could desire to take inconsideration why the author made this e book see you later ( jointly together with his different books). Mr. Dickens grow to be paid to place in writing his novels; like super expectancies, he grow to be paid by using the quantity of words he could write. So, it may look quite long and boring, in spite of the incontrovertible fact that it quite does have a solid ethical to it. So instead of following the sheep, why do no longer you provide the e book a attempt? Get previous the 1st chapters, and in case you quite do no longer like it, then positioned it down. yet do no longer toss it if the e book is to long, toss it in case you do no longer in basic terms like the plot, that's quite difficult to have faith by using fact Charles Dickens is an exceedingly known and eloquent author. :D additionally, different authors like Emily Dickinson wrote many long books besides, yet u . s . a . maintains to compliment the two a type of authors! P.S. examine super expectancies! Its spectacular~
