I imagine General Patton was a pretty wise leader, but you just can't wage war and be pure of heart. Siddartha purportedly gained wisdom and *became* pure of heart, but only after his heart was riddled with impurity. A baby, right at birth, can be supposed to be pure of heart but lacking wisdom. Of course, cardiac purity is almost impossible to judge because it would also come down to who is doing the judging. I mean, take the pope for example (please, lol). Many would consider him wise and pure of heart, but not in my judgment. In my judgment he is criminally insane. Or at least the dogma he embraces is, e.g., thanks to his stance on prophylactics and birth control, hundreds of thousands of people continue to suffer and die from disease and famine.

I don't think so. People use to tell me I was the sweetest thing they had ever meet. That my heart was pure and I couldn't hurt a fly.

Then after being screwed over and over and over and over again....generally when I was trying to do what was right or to help someone out....and years of being beaten up on wisdom came....and my heart isn't so pure anymore. It is lonely, angry and not happy. I don't give a rats *** anymore as to what people think and quite honestly I think most people aren't worth the time it took to write this.

No, not in the classical sense.
