Well Papa Roach and Buck Cherry are on tour with Avenged Sevenfold, so maybe check that out if you want.

I'm not sure if you call "of Montreal" rock but they are definitely one of the best bands of the 21st century (so far). All of their albums are pretty much indie classics.
