These people are the height of hypocricy. They knew what was in the bailout when it was written. Now what they have done is singled out one group of people, tried and convicted them without going thru the Court system. This is similar to what happened in Germany in the 30s. The singling out of a group for political reasons. Anyone remember what happened/

Just think how mad they'd be if AIG had actually done something that violated the terms of the bailout.

How about during the Clinton years, when this country had a great economy, and Nancy Pelosi was one of the liberal Democrats who gave us that great economy?

Most corportaions I know give bonuses for profit and success not wasteful spending and failure.

So tell me, other than these CEOs getting a big fat check from the government, which they already got caught once trying to misuse, what makes them entitled to a bonus other than their ability to write themselves a check?
