We're complete and polar opposites...oh yeah, and he's my boss.?

Here we go. Asking a question on yahoo answers...it's seriously come to this. Nonetheless, here it is: I just got out of a really crappy relationship, and I finally got situated in a new home (albeit falling apart around my ears) and a job and...it's good. Getting back on my feet again. However, the thing is that this guy that I'm working for? He just kissed the life out of me the other day in the lobby. I have feelings for him, but we're complete and total opposites. And it will never work out. So maybe I'm looking for someone to lie to me and tell me it will work out or someone who will go out on a limb and tell me how it will work or someone who will slap me in the face with some reality and tell me it never will....screw it, it's not a maybe. Help!

Lets get a little reality and a little fairy tale:

    Reality:

Your boss should not be kissing you in the lobby of your work place. This is not a good idea because if people you work with see this, they will think that anything that you earn on your job, was gotten because you are sleeping with the boss. Even if you are not sleeping with him, people will assume this. Be careful. Also, if this guy is married, you are asking for heart ache.

Fairy Tale: Your boss is not married and he fell in love with you at first sight. All of your opposite sides fit together like a well built jig saw puzzle and he will lift on his horse and carry you off in to a wonderful sunset.

A little bit of both: If you really like this guy and it works out, leave your job after you get another one. Be careful however because this guy may be into picking women up at work.

Source(s): I have been married to the guy who was my boss for the last 15 years. However, we did not date while we worked together and when I knew that I had feelings for him, I switched jobs. We also have opposite tastes in music and movies but can agree on important things.

I'd say go for it...they do say opposites attract.

Me and my wife couldn't stand one another all through high school and college and today we are happily married, nice home, nice cars and kids.

You never know where your future may or may not lead you. Try it out and if he fires you cause you break up with him (cause it really isn't working out)....sue his *** for sexual harassment.

    Good luck.
