Can anyone tell me any good books to read?

I read nothing but ghost story, kidnapping and abduction, and murder books. They're the only kind of books I find interesting. Can anyone tell me some really good books and give a summary about what the book is about, thanks!

Check out "The Flying Deuce" by Brian Linn Smith. It's a fast paced story. It's gotten good reviews on amazon. Here's the back cover.

    Murder in the Mountains

Rob Allen lost his youth and his leg in Iraq. Being the single parent of a four year old girl has given him a reason to recover and paramedic school has given him the means. A disciplinary transfer has displaced him from his native Manhattan into the secluded mountains of northern Pennsylvania. His fears of boredom are quickly replaced by a struggle for survival. When Rob realizes that a traffic accident victim was actually murdered he enlists the help of Deputy Coroner Anna Drake. As the two investigate they discover that the crime of the city has its roots in the beautiful mountains. They become targets and race to stop the killer before more of their informants, or they and their families die.

Any Dean Koontz books!! The Twilight Saga by Stephenie Meyer is a hit. Go to www.stepheniemeyer.com and read the first chapter of Twilight (which is the first book in the Saga). Also, Mary Higgins Clark writes one mean novel. Best of luck!

    Runaway-Wenedlin Van Drannen.

It's not exactly about kidnapping, but it's about a girl who runs away from her insane(not rlly, just horrible) foster parents. She has to live as a homeless person, but calls herself a gypsy. Very good and very entertaining.
