Have you taken a computer skills test for a job agency?
I am taking a computer skills test tomorrow for a job agency. I am trying to decide what I should practice on before then. I have quite a bit of office experience but have been on a break for awhile so i'm nervous I'll forget something important. Can you tell me the topics or kind of things you were asked to do. Also I found this website online, is this basically the stuff you were asked to do or was there more complicated items??

That is a GREAT link and if you know this stuff, you will do very well indeed.
I took a proficiency test a few years ago and told the girl doing the testing flat out that there were things I could not do. No problem. Because this was for a temp agency, it just meant that they wouldn't send me to places that required dicta or numeric data entry.
Have fun!! Attitude is FAR more important than skills, because skills can always be taught.

Take tests at more than agency with the agency you are interested in being last. In between the tests go to your PC and learn how to do the processes you had trouble with. Most of the agencies test for the same information.

It was your first mistake to even let an agency find work for you. Do you realize that they take your money when you get checks for your new job -if they find one for you?
Companies hate agencies because they have to pay them a cut of what you make. Sad.
