What street bike should i get? Also what exhaust should I get?

First and foremost take the motorcycle safety class. Then buy a used bike that's scratched. Almost everyone drops their first bike, then never does it again.

Supersport bikes are not easy to ride!!! Now that we got that out of the way.

As for the exhaust, most aftermarket exhausts lose low end torque and gain high end hp. Doesn't do you any good on the street. I say stick with the stock exhaust. If you have to get one the Ferrari of motorcycle exhausts is Akrapovic or Termignoni. Akra's look better in my opinion.

In my opinion teenagers shouldn't ride street bikes. You have to get used used to driving a car first. Then once you learn the "road," then you can learn the bike.

Get a Kawasaki Ninja 250R The new design is great and they handle well and a perfect beginner bike, or a used Ninja or Honda VTR or VFR.

TAKE THE MSF COURSE before riding or you are going to kill yourself. And I hope you put money away to buy full gear as well.

You don't need a new bike.

You don't need a fast bike.

And especially - You don't need a loud bike! No one is going to think you are cooler because your bike is loud. They will think you are annoying and don't care about your community. Riding with people with loud exhausts is annoying as hell too. It's hard enough to hear when you're riding, why would I want to ride with a d-bag that was trying to rack up poser points by making the whole neighborhood deaf?

Depends on the bike. Ninja sounds best with Muzzy. Zuke sounds best with Yoshi. D&D / Hines are pretty universal. Akapovics are nice too.

Standard advice:

Buy a second-hand Japanese dual-purpose bike of no more than 250cc. Ride it for at least a year, then sell it for almost what you paid for it and trade up to what you really want. See link for more details
