So i just installed an update on my ipod now it is not working, what is up?
my ipod was working perfectly fine then I plugged it into my computer and it said there was an update, I said sure why not. Then it installed and as it was restarting it keeps crashing. What can i do it will not even get past the apple screen, can anyone help, or do they know if there is a bad update right now?
yes... and i did diagnostics and it is stuck on HP DECTECT Test... I try to hit menu but it will not continue
the hp detect is passing, but it will not let me advance...
No it will not start up past the apple screen... so it will not connect to my computer.

Have you tried holding the center and menu button and hence resetting it properly?

Try installing the update again.
To do this open iTunes and plug in your iPod
On the ipod menu, on the first tab, there will be a button 'Restore Original Settings' click that and the previous software you had will be restored on your ipod. then try and download the update again.
