what bowling ball should i buy to fit my style?

I have been bowling for about 4 months, and already have one performance ball (ebonite magic). Its a great ball, but im thinking i need something else, for a different oil patterns. Thought maybe Storm Second Dimension or Roto Grip Cell Pearl. I bowl Aussie style (two handed, tried it once got a strike, been doing it ever since), so it has alot of crank, right handed and a medium ball speed. Average around 150, any help would be appreciated.

Go to your local pro shop and have them recommend a ball for you. They'll watch you throw a few shots, and base their recommendation on that, as well as which oil patterns you want to use the ball for.

Don't make your decision based on what anyone on here might suggest.

Well, its kinda hard to decide what would be good considering your style. I mean, I've never known anyone who's actually successfully used a 2 handed style, but I would probably say that you might want something like a dry lane ball, since a 2 handed delivery would be adding a lot of revs on the ball. Maybe something like a tropical storm.

If your'e bowling two handed, you probably don't need the most reactive bowling ball. With a medium ball speed, a Cell probably isn't the best ball, it will go straight into the other gutter. Go for something mid performance, it will be more controllable.

well honestly i dont know how to help your status. I averaged a 150 also but I bowl with one hand. A few days after christmas i went out and spent my money on a Black Widow Venom bowling ball and some new bowling shoes and a bag...all totaled around $300.00. My average now is at least 190.....so if you want to go one handed i definitely recommend the Black Widow Venom to you.
