Do moth balls really keep black widow spiders and scorpians away?

And are they safe? I have a 2 year old and newborn. Thanks in advance

My mom always recommends this spider spray to everybody: SpiderRepel. It's natural ingredients, so it's completely safe for your children (no harsh pesticides).

Actually, just last summer I had a bunch of black widows in the shed behind my house. It was a real mess, and I don't deal well with spiders! So I tried out the spray my mom recommended. Worked like a charm.

Hope that helps, and good luck!

Moth balls emit Napthlene. In strong enough concetration, they keep everything away. If you can stand the "Old Lady Stench" be my guest. My guess is you are a greenie who is afraid of pesticides, which is a category in which mothballs belong. If they were truly effective for what you ask, it would be listed on the package because the manufacturer would like to include you as a client.

Like a lot of stuff they are completly safe when directions are followed. Remember A Little Is Good almost never means More Is Better.

VERY FEW products are dangerous when used as directed.

By far the best pest control happens to be the most natural one too!! Good news for greenies, However impractical. Insects?....LIZARDS!!!!

    Mice or Rats?>>>>SNAKES!!!!!!!!!!!!

i do no longer think that moth balls artwork on spiders. i've got in no way seen any information of that. i've got used moth balls for different issues and nonetheless get spiders. The moth balls will, even with the indisputable fact that, worsen canines and cat noses so i does no longer want them around lots.

moth balls, and any pesticides would be worse than any

    spider you will have.

my 3 youngns simply would not quit playing with bugs(and spiders)

so I taught them early on not to poke fingers into a black widow

web. don't recall any spider bites. but there are worse bugs

    out there.
