Why did ABC cancel Life on Mars!?

This and Friday Night Lights are the best shows on TV. The networks should better promote these shows. I am so upset!

Update:

The SERIES finale is in 2 weeks. Not season, SERIES.

I am more than upset, I am livid. Why would they cancel this wonderful show with one of the geatest casts on TV.....for what, another realilty show.. I can't stand it. I can only hope one of the cable networks has the sense to pick it up. I am also a great fan of Friday Night Lights, another show that wasn't given an even shake. These network honchos have the attention span of a gnat. They don't believe in giving something a chance.

i know! i can not believe this! the human beings at ABC are merely all idiots... And whilst i'm bashing ABC, am i able to bash CBS too? CBS is going and cancels Jericho and ABC cancels existence on Mars. those have been the two large shows that stored human beings on their ft and questioning and had very deep plots... Oh nicely. perhaps I merely shouldn't get too in touch in a sequence back... it sort of feels each prepare i admire gets cancelled... a minimum of Fox hasn't cancelled residing house! nonetheless, i think ABC is all-suited in the event that they shop misplaced going...

I'm still pissed 6 years later. What a great show. You'll never see another cast like that. They were all perfect. If the ratings sucked, ABC can blame themselves. They did almost no ads. Excellent show. Am watching it again on DVD.

This show was so unique and entertaining. I liked it too, and was disappointed when I learned it had been cancelled. I don't think ABC gave it a chance.

It was probably due to low viewer ratings. I watched "Life on Mars" a few times, but I didn't care for the story lines. I'd rather watch CSI when it comes to "who done it" type of shows.

Life on Mars isn't cancelled. There is probably a few new episodes left, then it will go into reruns until the fall.
