Sightseeing: The Zoo, The Aquarium and Imax Theater ,the Riverwalk, Swap Tours, Cemetry Tours, Katrina Tour, River Cruise in Missisipi (or else you can take a ferry to algiers point and return back - its free) for a perfect view.

Night Life: Harrahs Casino, Bourbon Street.

Food: All good Resturant around the city.

Dont miss to go to the Famous Coffee Stand - Cafe De Monde for a cup of Coffee and Beignets.

The zoo would have to be the best place to go. I live near New Orleans, so I go there every so often. If you have kids they may get scared when you pass the Swamp Monster. Its not real, but I used to scream every time I saw it.

I dont know what you like but there are some cool places that are haunted like the St. Louis Cathedral.

There are some really nice art museums.

If you don't have kids there is always bourbon street, you should have a hand granade. Trademark of New Orleans Bourbon street! (It's a drink)

go away them at homestead, for goodness sakes. Spring wreck could be basically lots crap. bear in mind that gal who has been lacking in Aruba. shop your siblings risk-free and shop them at homestead in the time of spring wreck. they could desire to not circulate everywhere with out their mum and dad. you do not say how previous you're, yet toddlers could be too lots of a duty whilst traveling and the french quarter isn't any place for youths.
