Yu-Gi-Oh - Can you activate trap cards during your turn?

I'm still learning all the rules of the Yu-Gi-Oh card game, and right now I'm wondering whether or not I can actually activate a trap card during my own turn, if I set it the turn before? I've been unable to find a solid answer to this anywhere on the net.

Example: I begin the duel, summon a monster, set the trap "Dust Tornado", end my turn. My opponent begins his turn, summons a monster, sets a trap also, then ends his turn. My turn again, I draw a card and enter my standby phase, can I now activate my "Dust Tornado" to destroy his trap?

Good to see the game's still up & running in people's minds! The basic rule regarding traps is to lay them face down in your spell & trap card zone then ending your turn when you're done with all the moves you need to make. Then, according to each trap's activation conditions, you may activate it in either your opponent's following turn or your next turn (some cards can actually do both!). There are exceptions of which I know:

-Trap Cards that are activated when destroyed

    (example:Statue of the wicked)

-Spell cards that let you play set traps without having to end your turn

    (example:Cathedral of nobles)

-Effect monster cards that allow you to activate traps from your hand

    (example: Jetroid)

    Trap Card

  • Your example does comply to the rules, so you can do that. The way traps cards work is simply a card that remains a secret to the opponent and you unleash the surprising force at the right timing. If you set a trap on your turn, you are allowed to play it as soon as it's your opponent's turn (or in other words, their draw phase, though most traps don't activate during the drawing phase). You don't have to directly activate a trap on your opponent's turn, you decide when it's best to use it. You can activate traps on your turn too, but read the effect, it might only be used when it's your opponent's turn.

Yeah you can like the trap card call of the haunted, it can be activated in your turn but you have to set it first and can only be activated after the turn the trap card was set.

Binary options let users trade in currency pairs and stocks for various predetermined time-periods, minimal of which is 30 seconds. Executing trades is straightforward. The system uses user-friendly interfaces, which even an 8 years old kid, can operate without having to read any instructions. But winning trades is Not easy.

Binary trading is advertised as the only genuine system that lets users earn preposterous amounts of money in ridiculously short period of time. Advertisers try to implicate as if you can make $350 every 60 seconds; if it was true then binary trading would truly be an astonishing business.

However, does it make any sense? Can every trader make tons of money in binary trading? Who is actually paying all the money or the profit to traders?

The first challenge is finding a trustworthy binary broker; secondly, you need to find a binary trading strategy, which you can use to make profits consistently. Without an effective trading strategy, there is no way you can make money in this business.

Learning a profitable trading strategy is possible, You should watch this presentation video https://tr.im/16635

It's probably the best way to learn how to win with binary option

yes you can only after you set the card in your previous turn, also you can activate trap cards at the end phase of any turn so long as you had it face down on your previous turn. certain trap cards can be activated from your hand after certain conditions are met.

one being delta crow anti reverse this card is not released yet but as long as you have 3 blackwing monsters on the field you can activate this card from your hand to destroy all spell and trap cards on your oponents side of the field. on you can set the card down to wait for the perfect oppotunity to activate it.
