Can you figure these out?!?!?!?

1. A basket contains 5 apples. Do you know how to divide them among 5 kids so that each one has a whole apple and one whole apple stays in the basket?

2. (Easy) A ladder hangs over the side of a ship anchored in a port. The bottom rung touches the water. The distance between rungs is 20 cm and the length of the ladder is 180 cm. The tide is rising at the rate of 15 cm each hour.

When will the water reach the seventh rung from the top?

3. Two girls are born to the same mother, on the same day, at the same time ( of course, not both at once - one right after the other - you know what I mean ), in the same month and year and yet they're not twins. How can this be?

4. - Peter, how old are your children?

- Well Thomas, there are three of them and the product of their ages is 36.

- That is not enough ...

- The sum of their ages is exactly the number of beers we have drunk today.

- That is still not enough.

- OK, the last thing is that my oldest child wears a red hat.

How old were each of Peter's children?

Update:

for number 2.

the sum is not enough to be sure because there are 2 combinations that equal the same thing. no one got 2 yet

Update 2:

for above i meant number 4

number 2 its not a math question

    1. Give four apples out and give the basket with one whole apple in it to a kid.

    2. It will never reach it. If the tide rises, so does the boat.

    3. They're triplets.

    4. 2, 2, and 9. (I finally got it. Haha.)

Edit: Am I missing something for the last riddle? I'm getting a lot of answers. Is one right? Haha. Well, we know it can't be 1, 6, and 6, because he only said the oldest CHILD wears a red het. He only said one child, so there is only one "oldest."

Edit: Wait, it's 2, 2, and 9. Because 1, 6, and 6 and the fomer both equal 13. The reason why Thomas asked for another clue is because they both totaled 13 and they had 13 beers. He needed another clue. It's also correct because I already said that it can't be 1, 6, and 6. Is this it?
