I have Commercial Confetti white Vinyl Flooring in my kitchen what is a good product I can use to clean it?

Its the kind you find In stores floors but their's is much more shinnier. I hate it because I can't get the marks out when I mop it. I've used mr clean but it leaves it sticky and this other brand I use not doesn't but I won't get those tough marks out. I've even tried Mr clean earaser but that takes to long to do. so any suggestions. I live in an apartment so I can't change the flooring.

I have the same flooring in the main area of my home, and I love it because it's durable.

The yellowing comes from old wax. The solution to your problem is simple and inexpensive, but you'll need a few hours for drying time.

Buy some plain household ammonia. Fill your mopping pail about half full with warm (not hot) water. Open the windows. Pour about half a cup ammonia into the water and gently stir. Slop this onto the floor, without wringing the mop. Let this sit until dry.

Now, rinse the mop well. Fill the pail again with just hot water. Rinse the floor. Your water should end up dirty. If it's really dirty, then you'll need to repeat the ammonia wash. Always rinse after each wash, twice with clean water each time if needed.

By now the yellow should have faded. There is now no finish on your floor. If you leave it like this, it will be nearly impossible to wash. You'll need to apply an acrylic finish. My favorites are from Home Hardware or Rona. There is one called Future, but this one yellows. Go to your local hardware store, and ask for acrylic floor finish for commercial tile floor. Apply according to the directions on the bottle, with a clean mop (buy one at the dollar store just for this). Don't worry - it won't smell like the ammonia did. Two or three coats should do it, but be sure to let it dry completely between coats. Wash the mop right away, or it will get stiff.

Once you've completed this project, the floor should be shiny and easy to maintain. Wash with only water, or the finish will wear off.

Put felt feet on all the furniture to avoid scratches. Reapplly finish as needed. Strip floor with ammonia once each year.

    Hope this helps.

Mix baking soda into a paste with water then add a bit of white vinegar then scrub it with a scrubbing brush. Much less harmful on the flooring and smells nicer too!
