Well, as your other responder says, all word processors have spelling and grammar checking.

I think your problem is larger, though. Software is notoriously bad at catching all but the most obvious spelling errors. It will find non-words, of course, but it won't accurately correct them.

Grammar checking is even worse. Many non-errors are flagged as mistakes, and the suggested repairs are usually useless.

For better or worse, real text editing is a high-level *human* skill. In other words, you want human help. With any luck, your helper will also explain along the way how you can improve your writing.

Hey! if you try to answer a question here like I am now, there's a little thingy above the text box that says Check Spelling!! you have to answer someone's question, submit it, then when it shows that your answer's posted, you click edit, and it will show your same message in a different text box. in the top right corner, it says Check Spelling!! so erase your message, paste in your essay, and when all your spelling's good, just cancel editing. :D

Just click spell check on Microsoft Word or whatever you're using to type it. If anything is grammatically incorrect it usually underlines it for you.
