Let's simplify things a bit and the fix up the simplification at the end.
6 = 349 (10 ^ x)
Can you do that ?
-- Give it a try based on that hint before going on --
6/349 = 10^x
x = log (6/349) = -1.76467418
That's x, but we want T.
-0.02 T = -1.7647 (rounded)
Mult by -100
2 T = 176.47
T = 88.235
349 * (10^((-.02) * 88.23500)) = 5.99964325
according to Google Calculator, which is not exactly 6,
because we rounded x a few steps back.

That's simple Algebra. Why don't you look in your text book? Weren't you paying attention when your teacher was teching it to you? Well anyway.I guess I can help: You multiply -6x and 2x which would equal -12x squared Then since there is also a power of two,put onto that you need to put (-12x squared)squared. Next,you just multiply the two squares and it would end up being -12x to the fourth power. I believe. If you have trouble with this then you will be in for a trip later in algebra. And next year. Things won't get any easier. I'm sure you'll get the hang of it though. But if you don't do it yourself you won't ever learn. Good luck.
