The Miami Heat's Mario Chalmers and Michael Beasley?
These are 2 very solid players, and Beasley is gonna be an All Star in the future, while Chalmers will be a regular on the All Defensive Team.
Should Miami trade them this off season if the trade makes them instant contenders? (Much like Boston did 2 years ago)
Should they sacrifice their future for a ring now? Because their only competition in the East in 2 years will be Cleveland and Orlando.

i dont think so... i think wade really likes playing with both of them- particularly chalmers as possibly the best steal happy backcourt in the league. wade is playing at championship calliber right now and maybe they should respect that, but those two guys, particularly chalmers, are damn close to being ready to help him win a championship now.

They're are really good players.Beasey is a future All Star and in top 10 best players in the nba.
Chamlers will be a good defender, future in Defensive Teams and maybe All Star player
If Dwayne Wade stays in the Heat the could trade them for something good but if he leaves in 2010 then both of them will stay
Edit:Blazers and Thunder will be great too

Depends who Miami would be getting in return. I highly doubt they trade either; just because in 2010 remember, D-Wade is a free agent. If he happens to walk, they'd rather be left with young talent in the form of Beasley and Chalmers then aging veterans. However; I actually full expect D-Wade to resign with Miami.

i think that if they get a chance to get a superstar by trading both of them then they should pull it..but only for a superstar caliber player.. both are having decent years but even i overestimated beasley's impact in the nba.. i thought he was more of a banger inside who liked contact and would play the 4 in the nba but he prefers to play on the perimeter and is more of a natural 3..i also thought he was more athletic but i was wrong.. chalmers is decent but i dont think he will ever be an all star..

after seeing both players play this season I think Chalmers will have a more successful career than Beasley

only if Miami gets another NBA superstar thats in his prime and has a good amount of years left in him.
You dont trade promising rookies especially a potential future All-Star unless its some blow away deal where you get another DWade, Lebron,or Kobe Bryant type player.

I think they could if Wade needs the help of a vetern..when Shaq left and Zo left..it left the Heat without a vetern to back up the team. If they do get a vet it should be someone who can really play. IMO, they need a SF
