Anyone would give an authentic british menu?

i'm writing a novel, and right now my characters are going trough a meal, and i need a lavish ( expensive) purely british menu

    It depends a bit if its a modern or historically set novel. if its historical you can use swan and whole roast pork with an apple in the mouth and everything... but not now sadly (!)

    for nowadays I would take a look at anything from Marks and Spencers (M&S) for some mouth watering descriptions of posh food. probably make sure everything is fairtrade and organic and/or from the farm down the road too and add some caviar in for flavour lol. tbh I've never had a REALLY posh meal here so i'm not sure!

    An English breakfast is only for breakfast surprisingly enough and it isn't at all lavish. I have never heard of eating mink and I doubt it very much

    I checked the internet for you... and this is what I found:

    Eggs, bacon, sausage, black pudding and toast. It looks like they like to eat a very BIG breakfast.
