US has stringent safety conditions compared to India. Tata Motors will come with US version in another 3 years.

Its going to be the same like what they did to the Smart cars. They had them in europe for a while and then they came here. I would die in a Nano if I bought one.

Frankly, riding on the highway in a gocart looks safer. WHY would you want one? They are not stupendous on gas, are ridiculously tiny, and look really uncomfortable. Plus the thought of being at eye level with everyone else's muffler must be nerve-wracking.

no. it won't pass the US safety standards nor will it pass emissions standards. making it do so would bring the price up to where you'd have a car that was inferior to anything on the market for a similar price to the aveo.
