I have a sandwich press and my kids LOVE toasted sandwiches!!!
Their favorites are:
peanut butter & strawberry jam
peanut butter & honey
peanut butter & bananas
bananas & honey
cream cheese & strawberry jam
You can also do dessert toasted cheese sandwiches too!
Add the following fillings, toast them, and then sprinkle w/ some powdered sugar and/or drizzle some chocolate or caramel sauce!!!
Sliced strawberries, sliced bananas, w/ chocolate sauce drizzle
cherry pie filling
sliced apples, walnuts, w/ caramel sauce drizzle
