You are going to kill yourself on an R class bike for your first street bike. So don't even worry about the 2k or so it would cost to insure that bike. Just make the down payment and enjoy your last month or so on Earth.

Are you referring to your vehicle insurance then figure on allot, best thing I could suggest is to check around with different companies and agents. You can generally get a better rate with a bigger deductible, but that means any mishap will cost you more out of pocket. One of the reasons sport-bikes are high to insure is the body pieces break easy.

If you mean your life insurance, Hopefully your parents have a big policy out on you.
