My sister is 9 months pregnant?
She is due on April 2nd but has been having problems where we've been thinking the baby is going to come sooner. Tonight she had a bit of blood when she wiped and has been having to pee A LOT. And, she has been having a lot of pressure as well. Like I said stuff like this has happened before but not like this..or this bad. She's apparently dialated a centemeter and she's already thinned 75% she has a doctors appt. tomorrow. But do you think she could go tonight?

she'll be fine until tomorrow unless she starts having regular contractions which get closer together in time.

It really depends. She could go tonight or in two weeks to be honest! My friend was 95% effaced and 4cm dilated for a few weeks so I really don't think that is the best indicator of being in labor. The peeing and pressure sounds like the baby has probably just dropped and is getting ready for labor. And the blood is normal too. It's called the bloody show. It can happen when you're in labor or even a few weeks before labor.
It's hard to say if she will go tonight. She very well could. But at the same time, all of these things only signal that labor is coming soon, not necessarily right away. The best indicator of having the baby really soon is contractions that are regular (say, about 3-5 minutes apart consistently for about 30 minutes) or your water breaking. Good luck! I'm 38 weeks pregnant and counting down the days! lol. :)

The blood was most likely from the mucus plug, its called "a show or bloody show". Losing the mucus plug is a sign of labor, but it may not occur for hours, days, or weeks. The pressure on the bladder is from the baby dropping. The baby will drop lower into the pelvic region to prepare for birth. This is all very normal and signs that labor is soon to come, but there is no way for us to say she will go into labor tonight.

She should be fine but if the pain get s worse or if the contra starts coming 5 minutes apart call 911 fast. If she thinks she is about to have the baby call her doctor so he can talk to her. They usually can tell by the tone of the patient voice if they are in labor or not. Hope this helps

she could go any time and be safe at this point, my due date is the 9th, i was 20% effaced and not dilated yesterday. the blood is normal, most likely from her loosing her mucus plug, peeing a lot is normal because the baby is moving farther down

The baby could come at any time. The due date is just an estimate. Most women don't deliver on their due dates.

She is peeing alot cause the baby is on it. She will know when she is in labour..trust me. If she is in her 37th week she is fine to go into labour any day now :) Good luck and congrats to your family :)

hi, there is a chance she could go tonight yes.The bleeding could be from her plug coming away but either way, your sister needs to be checked out.Any bleeding during pregnancy should be checked by your midwife or doctor.Good luck and congrats

Sounds like she is close. You didn't mention anything about contractions. If she starts having real ones, then it means she's going into labor.

considering she is 9 months, she can go at any time, night, in the middle of the night, in the moring. even in the next 30 min. it really depends on her body, but she is ready to go at any time.
