When and where was the largest concert in California?

I have a hint: both U2 and Willie Nelson played at this show.

-The largest concert ever was in Copacabana Beach, Rio when Rod Stewart played to 3.5 million people, New Year's Eve, 1994.

-The largest concert in the U.S. was July 1986 when the New York Philharmonic played to 800,000 people in Central Park.

    The US Festival, which lasted from May 28 to June 4, 1983. Took place in Devore (San Bernardino).
