Oblivion: Dark Brotherhood: Temples wont Heal?
Anyone know why I get a message in the temples that I have to repent before having my abilities restored? This worked before I joined the Dark brotherhood. Xbox360 version. Thanks

Your infamy level is probably too high.
If you get the Vile Lair plug-in it adds a place called Deepscorn Hollow. Inside of Deepscorn Hollow is a shrine that you can use if your infamy is higher than your fame. It is the same as the chapel altars except this is for evil players to use.

if ur infamy score is higher then ur fame score then the gods deem u bad and not good enough for there blessing...
if u do some good things like the main quest and fighters/mages guild stuff then u might be able to bring ur fame back up

if you join the dark brother hood the gods wont let you use the altars period.
