I have several books on Texas Hauntings but they are all packed down in foot lockers and are hard to get to. The most famous haunting's which you probably are familiar with is of course the ghosts of the Alamo. One of the books I have is Spirits of San Antonio http://www.amazon.com/Spirits-San-Antonio-South-Te...
White Rock Lake in Dallas has legend of the lady of the lake. supposedly in the 1930's a young girl drowned in the lake. People would pick up a wet hitchhiker and she would tell them she drove her car off into the water and needed a ride home. When the driver gets to her place and knocks on the door an old man cries and tells the driver that his daughter drowned 30 years ago. Of course this was back in the 60's but the legend continues today and is just a myth. I lived in Dallas 37 years and spent many days and nights at the lake fishing, hiking, or ghost hunting and I never once saw any indication the lake is haunted.
A well known ghost book author has a site and I will provide the link to his website on haunted locations. http://www.ghostinmysuitcase.com/places/index.htm
Thirty miles from me is a haunted cemetery. It is a family graveyard of people killed in an Indian/Mexican massacre in 1837.
The above author has a book title Ghosts of East texas and I am one of several paranormal investigators he talked to and contributed information for his book. The link I am about to post has some of the inmformation he gathered but the Indian warrior is just a myth a legend. No Indians were killed that day, the Killough family were unarmed. As for the fog it is just an occuring natural fog. Too many people get caught up in myths and ignore actual fact. But still I do believe it to be haunted, I have investigated it many times with my team and spent many nights alone there way before the the many ghosthing groups we have now even existed in this area and before all the vandels started tearing up the place due to these ghost hunters wanting to make a name for themselves and made this a well known spot. I recorded a tempetarue drop over 50 degrees in the parking lot in the hot summer. the ambient temp was 103 and the pavement was 112. I recorded a moving cold spot of 50 degrees. I tried to stay in the cold spot because it was a very hot day but it kept moving.http://www.texasescapes.com/Ghosts/Killough-Massac...
Hardly any investigators give the Sawmill hiking trail any thought. But I have hiked this trail and have talked to others who have had ghostly expeeriences htere. Most investigators reject any place as haunted unless they can prove there has been deaths there. What they fail to realize is this earth is old and death has occurred everywhere at one time or another. Not all ghosts reveal themselves and the scientific documentation is not as realiable as they tell you it is. Many people experience ghosts and paranormal activety they the researchers claim a false haunting. But again they fail to realize the scientific tools they rely on was not invented for ghost hunting and thus unrealiable as ghost hunting tools. It is fun to use them but hey really scientist laugh at us and until we can take that laughter in stride and realieze ghosts and the paranormal cannot be scientifically documented we will not be so frustrated at skeptics and real scientists.
This is getting long but just go to your local book store browse their Texas section they should have copies of these books and many more.

Well, I live in a suburb of Ft Worth, and read that in a city called Hurst, which is not far from there, is a place called the Belaire Theater, which is supposed to be haunted. I read this on this website: http://theshadowlands.net/ghost/
If you select "haunted places" at the top, you can read about other hauntings in Texas and all the other states.
