Dell Dimensions 3000 Memory Upgrade?
I'm wanting to upgrade my Dell Dimensions 3000 memory from 1gb to 2gb. Will this RAM work?

Some reviews on newegg.com on different RAM with the same specs say it doesn't work on a Dell 3000, while other reviews say it does?
If it doesn't work, can you give me some links to compatible RAM?

The reason i asked, is because on reviews of ram with the same specs, people said it worked and didn't work with a dell 3000.

RAM depends on your motherboard.
If you are using DDR memory right now, then you may purchase any DDR memory from any manufacturer and it will run.
Another aspect is the bus speed. Most OEM mobos support 667MHz/800MHz so you might want to check up there.
Go to the Dell website, under motherboard check the expansion options. The part which says 2xDIMM or nxDIMM should have the max. supported bus speed of your RAM. You should then purchase 'DDR' Memory of a compatible bus speed.
