why does the picture get scrambled on my lcd tv?

This happens randomly on my lcd hdtv. i'll be watching tv and all of a sudden the picture scrambles and then goes back to normal after a few minutes. Other tv in the house works great so i've narrowed it down to something inside the tv. What part could it be and where could i possibly buy the part .

Update:

cables and signal are good. TV connected to cable.

Update 2:

audio works fine it's just the video/picture that scrambles.

If that is the only TV in the house that does it and it is the only hi def TV what you are seeing is pictulazation It is either the signal or the HDMI connection that is the cause. With Hi Def you get a lot of information at one time and if the buffering is not seemless it will cause the picture of the audio to break up or pictulate
