    h be upbeat. answer the phone with a smile in my voice. Relying on friends to pull me thru.

    Your boss is actually right! It's best to say that the sales person has step out for a minute and Will be back in a few minutes.

    a: retail mall mgr. in charge of 8 employees.

    best: meeting new people every day and making them happy.

    worst: long hours especially holidays.never off on a weekend.had to come in if ever a problem no matter what. had to deal with complaints/stupid ones as well. being in retail means they own you.

    p.s. i got out just before the recession. i cant imagine the pressure mgmt is under to bring up sales. good luck.
