1993 chevrolet P/U parking brake light stays on all the time.?

this is a 1993 chevy pick-up. w/t model. it has the 4.3 L with a 5 speed manual. the parking brake light in the dash bord stays on all the time. the parking brake itself works perfectly and i use it every day. i have checked everything. the parking brake pedal comes up all the way off the switch that engages the light. the brake fluid level is perfect. i dont understand why the light stays on. however i have one idea. the anti-lock brakes dont work. they have never worked. however the parking brake light allways worked properly before and long after the anti-locks quit working. i just wonder if maybe the computer finally picked up on that. and here is the last wierd thing. half the time the parking brake dash bord light either stays on all the time. and some times it flickers. but it flickers in a patern. 7 blinks, and one pause. then 7 blinks, and one pause. and over and over. so there is a little info.

so basically the parking brake light stays on all the time even though everything works properly. please if you have delt with this before let me know. and feel free to ask any other questions to clarify this problem for you.
