Does anyone know of a Native American Healer who resides in New Mexico?

I've heard about an individual who can actually heal people, who have cancer or other problems...my father has lung cancer and we are willing to try anything. We are also part Cherokee Indian, which I believe is a requirement of this particular healer. Any information will be appreciated...thanks so much.

sorry to hear about your father.

i don't know the person you have in mind but i feel i must issue a bit of a warning. your family is vulnerable rght now and there are people out there who will take advantage of that. do not have anything to do with anyone who claims to be a native healer who then talks about how much money you need to give them...they are frauds.

best bet is to go to a nation near you and ask if there is someone there who can help you. when you find the right person it is customary to give a donation of worth..but a real healer will never give you a set price.

best to you and your family.

I'm going to break a few rules here. And put out some real info.

    1. NO medicine , work OUTSIDE their own tribal area.

    2. Humans are Humans, there is no 'requirement' to heal.

    3. True Medicine are known by their TRIBAL COUNCILS and people. They're chosen by evidence of their gift. This is something one does not chose, or proclaim themselves.

    Having said that.

As K, said go to the tribe. Let them know what is going on, and what you need.

As to the 'gift' to give your 'doctor' a blanket, food, something they need to do their 'work' really goes over well.

    Good luck.
