No person is 'meant' to be 'important'. Some manage to create the illusion that they are. No human really is. We're just arrogant enough to think we are.

Everyone is important. Why wouldn't they be? The fact that people randomly lob missiles into their neighborhood might have a little to do with it. The fact that a dictator tried to wipe them off the face of the earth might have something to do with it.
