which phone has the capability to watch a full featured movie off a memory card or using its internal memory?
I have a long commute to work on the train and would like a phone that will allow me to watch a movie or tv shows after downloading it and converting it over to a memory card... I just don't know which phone will allow me to watch a movie from a memory card or at least has the enough internal memory

Lots of them do. Personally I have the Omnia which I love! It has support for I believe 4 or 5 different kinds of videos (wmv etc) has 8 gig memory, unless you get the GSM version which has both an 8 gig and 16 gig model. The Omnia is an excellent phone!
Edit: The CDMA version supports 9 kinds of playback including: MPEG4, 3G2, RealVideo, WMV, DivX, XviD, H.263, H.264 , Windows Media Player
