Brown eyes, eyeliner, or not?

i have brown eyes tooo. if im going out in the daytime i'd rather not wear eyeliner. but for a night occasion, i use gray. i find black a little to dark and heavy.

i also apply eyeliner on the inside top lid of my eye. it makes your eyelashes look thicker without making your eyelids look heavy. its not really on your eyelid, more like your lash line. i use this technique night and day. i use a black for thiss . heres a video on how to apply:

It's not the color of the eyes that matters but the shape of the eyes that matters. Almond shape tends to have mixed results...all in all it depends if YOU like the look of eyeliner.

I've got medium sized almond shaped eyes and I only like eyeliner on the top. Maybe a little powder eyeliner under the eyes (if dark I smudge it out) stopping 1/2 way underneath the eye (from the outer corner to the center).

I have almond shaped brown eyes too, and i only put eyeliner on the top.. just a semi-thick layer right above the eyelashes and then make the eyeliner wing out a LITTLE bit on the outer corners of your eyes...and then put mascara on. if you feel like it's too much or makes your eyelid disappear, then stick with just mascara! if you want a darker look with only mascara just put lots on :)

I usually don't put eyeliner on the top either.

But since you have brown eyes, I think a more natural color would look best. Eyeliner can be tricky. If you used a light brown, i think it would look really great.

My eyes are so brown they are almost black. So I put black eyeliner on the bottom of my eyes only and go for very light color eye shadows to make my eyes look bigger. And mascara is a must.

for brown eyes, I think you should go with a light brown or light gray colour.

personally, I am more of a wild person, who likes funky things. If I had brown eyes, I'd go for a medium blue eyeliner, it looks the best.
