I found a newt and put it in my aquarium with red eared sliders and 1 of its legs got bitten off so i put it in a little tank and searched newts and found out they regenerate just about everything they need to. I couldn't find anything on how long it took. I'll let this it newt go when its better just wondered how long that was going to be?? Any1 know?

Sorry but can i ask why you put a newt in a tank with an animal that eats amphibians, please dont put it back in there. also newts need cool water and you should find out the species so u can learn to care for it properly. regeneration depends on species but its generally 3 months to 2 years time scale.
