Small claims court...can I use it for-?

ConfuciousMouse ask:

Can small claims court be used to recover money paid to

large corporation which does not honor it's contract?

Update:

We put $395 down to start a refinance

on our home. It's been 3 months, and

the finance company keeps dragging

it's heels and making excuses.

We're fed up and want to go somewhere

else to do business- and we want

the $395 filing fee back.

Yep, you can use it for that.

If that fee was nonrefundable, or the company is going bankrupt, though, you're not going to WIN that case.
