how do i remove write-protection?

im using vista , how do i remove write-protection on a sd card.

im trying to extract a zip file on to the sd card but it says that the card is write-protected

    There's a slider on the side of the card.

    put a piece of tape over the switch on the sd card and it will work

    the card has a little switch thing, just move it to the opposite location and you are done
