I find it intriguing when people watch themselves?

lol, I always do this! I hate when I do it into car windows, but I can't see the people in there staring back...that's so mortifying!!:)

Anyways, we do it on an evoluntionary basis, because we like to ensure we our best for possible mating opportunities.

We like to attract people of the opposite sex, and the most basic way to do this is physically, by appearing good, and attractive.

It's a stone-age "let's keep surviving by pro-creating" type of thing.

That is an in built thing in every person. The feeling of importance, the feeling of being needed and the feeling of admiration! These are known as the three lights. If you want to go ahead then you must switch off those three burning lights and try to appreciate others!!

Appearance-maintenance. As the wind blows, you need to make sure your hair is fine. Boogers can be an unexpected issue too.

I personally will sometimes look at my reflection to look behind me, without strangely looking so far around.

To put it simply, ego. We as a human race are vain. If someone sees themselves walking, they will see how they think others view them. its a way to check if your hair is proper, without taking out a mirror, a way to check if your fly is unzipped, without feeling up your package. etc etc.

I like to make sure I look good! I am also curious as to how people walking past me view me.

to make sure i look good and presentable in public. hahah i can't think of another reason why i do it.
