Does the EDGE Card work on the Nintendo DSi?

I'm planning on getting an NDSi although I'm not sure if it works with my existing EDGE Homebrew cart thing

Has anyone gotten their previous NDS/NDSL homebrew carts to work on the DSi? Like the EDGE, AceKard, R4 or the M3DS thing.

...or do I have to get the "i" version of the carts? o_o Like AceKardi or DSTTi (i hope not)

Thanks :)

No, the EDGE will not work on the DSi since Nintendo blocked all NDS Lite flashcarts from working on the DSi.

There are a few teams that have made working ones already, though. The Acekard2i is by far the best, and if you're going to upgrade, that's the one you want. An unofficial R4i has been made, along with an EZFlash 5i, but they're not up to par with the Acekard2i.

So if you upgrade to DSi, unfortunately you'll have to upgrade your flashcart as well.

from what I've read... the people behind acekard , cycloDS etc have to make new ones to support DSi. I know that acekard has one out for the DSi. So no, I doubt the old ones will work. but don't quote me!

i believe that Nintendo DSi is a console that plays carts of the original ds. so technically, you can.
