Deleted Questions on home page?
The home page has a new feature, "questions suggested for you," which is fine. But at least on mine a fair number of those questions turn out to be deleted questions. I "x" them out, but they often reappear and persist for days. Why does Yahoo! Answers display links to deleted questions on the home page?

Me too, most of the questions suggested for me are either deleted or at least resolved. I think this is because that feature is new and therefore has major glitches.
Through your Answers' profile, you can choose under “Recent Questions suggested for you” if you would like to get suggested questions or not.
Un-check the box for "Show me suggested questions based upon my activity on Answers" if you prefer not to display them.

you could purely try this if it is your question and not yet in balloting. as quickly as a query has been resolved it is going to become the valuables of Yahoo solutions and can't be deleted. it somewhat is area of the regulations of the area which you agreed to once you signed up.

if you want you can disable Yahoo! from doing that
go to your profile - Edit my info - scroll down and uncheck the tick that is on "Show me suggested questions"
