can i recycle turtle water on my japanese maple?
i have a slider that lives is a very large tank with a filter and no chemicals so obviously it gets dirty really really fast. i was wondering if i could dump the dirty turtle water onto my 1.5 year old japanese maple as one of waterings? would the algea and bacterias hurt the tree?

i know the problem you are sayiung with the slider. i have 3 and keeping the tank clean does keep me busy. i once heard that using that water to water plants is good for them. its loaded with stuff plants like. i have done it a few times on my house plants. they didnt jump for joy to thank me but they still look good. i think its a great way to safe water and use it again.

That will both water and fertilize the tree. Sometimes sewage plants get rid of their effluent by spraying it in a forest. They get tree-mendous growth by doing that.
