Can you make soy yoghurt by putting a spoonful of it in some soy milk?

I've read that you can make yoghurt by putting a spoonful of it in some milk. Can the same be done for soy? Can you put a plop of soy yoghurt into some soy milk, and will it turn into soy yoghurt?

I want to make some soy yoghurt, but from what I've read, it doesn't come out as thick as dairy yoghurt does, and the results have also been inconsistent. I like easy, and thought that the spoonful method might do the trick.

Yes? No? Anyone?

    I think so.

You need a good quality soy yoghurt to begin with which you add 4 tablespoons of to some soya milk which you have heated to 42-45 degrees centigrade (you'll need a thermometre) on the hob.

Keep the mixture at 42-45 in the oven until it becomes firm, then chill until fully set.

Hope it works, i'm going to have a go soon too!
