Just saw Lefty Livingstone on TV. Why is this man still giving interviews.?

Hardly "kicked his ar*se"? Wasn't exactly a landslide for Boris was it....? He's been involved in London and did a fantastic job since the years of the GLC - he's not likely to ever stop is he..

He's allowed to speak - as are you. And if people ask for his views - and feel that there's a need to put them on TV - then those views must also be valued.

Obviously he's not policy making...that Boris's job - he just doesn't seem to have realised that yet....(Boris that is)

Edit: I don't mean "fantastic" in that he always did things right - it's just that he's worked tirelessly for London and I think his heart's always been in the right place. Anyway - what was wrong with "Red Ken"? or is Lefty Livingstone the dumbed down version!! hahahahaha

He has a good Publicity Agent that's all. It's certainly not because the public can't get enough of him.
