Project on the photographer's career in the 1860's?
I'm doing a project on the photographer's career in the 1860's compared to now and I'm having trouble finding some good research on the 1860's part. I want to know how hard or easy it was to find a job, what those jobs might be, how much they made, etc... If anyone knows any good sites to visit or books possibly, I'd really appreciate you listing them. Thanks!
Thanks guys, and by no means do i need you to do all the work, just needed some help getting started.

Photographer's of the 1860's often made as much as Dentists and Gold Miners. It was a lucrative and prestigious job.
This is an article from 1862. $160 per day!! That is probably at least $2000 in 2009 dollars.
