at what age did you realized that you were gay or lesbian ?

You know, I've always felt different from the other kids. It sounds quite ridiculous, but I have. One memory that stands out in my memory from childhood is in second grade. I remember one of the kids said something mean to me in class. It wasn't absolutely cruel, but still a little mean. I cried, quite intensively. Even my teacher looked at me weird. There were other differences,

I like to change the outfits on the Barbies and see what looked good.

I rather enjoyed Bow Flex commercials.

I dressed up as a girl when nobody was looking.

I had pictures of Backstreet Boys on my wall.

And other small things like that.

Then in around 5th grade, that age when people start learning what homosexuality is, I had several people ask me if I was gay. And that continued, and still does today. I really started to feel different. Then, the other guys started liking girls, and looking at Play Boy....I was still enjoying my Bow Flex commercials. I had a lot of girls confront me about liking me, but I just wasn't into the idea. I started to question myself, and I remember staying awake at night, just wondering.

Anyways, in my Freshman year, I had my first crush. His name was TJ. I kept a picture of him in my dresser. =]

The point I'm getting to I guess is that, I don't think that there is a time when a person realizes they're gay. Just as a straight person doesn't have to realize they're straight. I think you've been struggling with this for a while, and you're finally being made to confront it. If not, then you're just confused.

There is a time however, when a person finally becomes comfortable with their sexuality, and that time came for me when I was 16. I finally understood that this was who I was meant to be, and who I am going to be. A lot of people are in desperate need of such an epiphany.

about 11 or 12

I am 16 now and I first noticed my 'difference' when I was like 12. Looking back though I can remember having gay thoughts at like age 7.

I am going out win somebody and my parents think it is a girl too!!! LOL! It is kind funny.

I wish I could help you wig your question but I don't really know what to say. Maybec he just likes you for you an doesn't care about what other people think or if you are big or different from other gay guys. I am happy you have someone like that though!!

I was struggling with my sexuality, which is normal, until about 3 months ago and im gonna be 25. It all depends on the person i guess but i think that everyone is bisexual really it is just what you prefer cause some prefer men and women, some prefer just women on women, some man on man, etc..It is a difficult path but eventually you will find out what you prefer and then start working on accepting that that is what you are and turn out happy. I don't really know when I first realized it - I was always kind of attracted to women but never thought anything of it, or that it had any connection to bein gay, which is kind of funny. I told myself I was bi sometime in high school, but planned on never coming out or dating women. In my first year of college, however, I realized that I really don't like guys at all and am just straight up gay. So I guess I've always known I've liked women, but only admitted to myself that I was actually just plain ol' gay in the last year/year and a half (I was 19 at that time).

You really just have to give yourself time to figure it out, and everyone figures it out at a different stage. You'll just have to note your own feelings towards guys and girls to gauge how you really feel about both.

I think i had a good idea realy young. The pastor at my church when i was little was a lesbian. I always thought that would be my life one day. Having a loving wife.. not husband just like pastor Brenda.. Then in middle school I was madly in love with a female principal...lol

so maybe 12 or 13...

I was 17 when I actually realized that I am bi and want to be a cross-dresser. (Still 17, only just happened not even 3 weeks ago.) Of course, when I realized it, I thought back to when I was younger, and figured out that if I had been paying attention, I would have realized it when I was in like 6th grade. Wow, six years ago, that would have changed me completely.

i don't know if you want advice from someone older but i was about 13 or 14 when i started noticing other guys. but with me i tried to Deny it until i was out of school even after having an experience with another guy. i was completely homophobic until i realized who i was and that there was nothing wrong with it. that's when i came out to my parents the funny thing was they both said they knew. they just didn't want to pressure me until i was comfortable

i first became attracted to guys in the 5th grade lol i remeber the scene and everything got jake was/is so hot lol

and i wish i could give u sum advice but i m in same boat kinda my parents kno i m dating sum1 just they dont know its a dude lol tho i think my mom knows lol
