are you in a halo right now? don't quote me, but i think that it might be one month in the halo device, followed by two months in a SOMI hard collar. after that, you are free to go and use your neck like usual. you ought to be able to find out within two weeks of surgery though in your follow-up visit with the surgeon, just how what is blueprint is and what are his plans for use of braces (i.e. the Halo and SOMI) and then the use of therapies (which really ought to also be counted toward recovery time). good luck with this one.
